Hi, I’m Campbell
I’ve lived in Northcote for nearly thirty years, raising my family, teaching in our public schools, and campaigning for social, environmental and climate justice.
People are fed up. And that’s fair enough! Real wages are going backwards, rents are through the roof and home ownership is increasingly out of reach. It’s no wonder it feels like you can’t get ahead.
Life in Victoria shouldn’t cost the earth.
The electorate of Northcote is special. It’s a strong and progressive community, and you deserve someone who will take on the major parties on the cost of living, housing and climate action.
That’s why I’m putting my hand up to represent you in State Parliament. I’m ready to take action and demand better.
Change is possible. This election, on a wafer-thin gap, Northcote is one of the most important, most marginal seats in the state. All eyes are on us here in Alphington, Fairfield, Northcote, Preston South and Thornbury.
The major parties won’t take on ultra-rich corporations like the banks, fossil fuel and gambling industries because they’re funded by them. We’re not.
No more special treatment. We will crack down on dodgy deals and dodgy donations.
We’ll make ultra-rich corporations pay their fair share to fund the things we all need. Like free public transport, properly funded education, lower energy bills with real climate action, and a decent home for everyone.
As a local and teacher, I’m going to take this fight up to Labor and into our Parliament.
We should all be able to afford a good life.
