A note from Campbell
I am so honoured to be your Greens candidate for Northcote in the upcoming state election.
I’m a local public school teacher, unionist and community activist who has lived in this community for 25 years. I raised my children here in Northcote, and taught my first classes in Thornbury Primary.
For years I’ve watched children around the world organise rallies to fight for their future. These children were my students. They were my daughters. It was a turning point for me. I realised it was time to make change happen at a political level.
I’ve taught the children of Northcote. I’ve raised my family in Northcote and my kids went to public schools here. I’ve been an active part of this community for decades. I’ve volunteered growing thousands of seedlings to green our suburbs, cooking in community kitchens to ensure people get food on the table, and joining my own kids and young people at climate strikes.
I won’t be afraid to take on the hard issues and push the Labor government to go further and faster on tackling climate action, housing and homelessness and social inequality.
I will be a passionate, caring and independent voice for our community.

Your Greens candidate for Northcote
Your vote is powerful.
We’re less than 800 votes away from turning Northcote Green.
Last election there was a 4.3% swing towards the Greens in Northcote – we’ve turned Northcote Green before, and we can do it again.
With more Greens in parliament we can keep the Liberals out and push the government further and faster on climate action, housing affordability and equality.
Our Plan
The Greens represent the community and will always fight for people and planet. Unlike the Labor and Liberal parties, the Greens don’t take donations from fossil fuel corporations or big property developers. We take on the powerful, corrupting influence of big money and corporate interests in politics.
The Greens have a plan to make big corporations pay their fair share so we can provide the things we all need for a better future. Explore our plan for Victoria
A Better Future for Northcote
Here’s our plan for a better future for the seat of Northcote, which includes the suburbs of Alphington, Fairfield, Northcote, Preston South and Thornbury. With more Greens in parliament, we can tackle the climate crisis, make housing affordable and hold the major parties to account.
What's on in Northcote
There’s volunteer events and opportunities on almost every day at the Northcote Campaign Office and Community Hub at 684 High Street, Thornbury. Check out how you can get involved to #TurnNorthcoteGreen.

First Nations Justice
First Nations communities are demanding our government raise the age of criminal responsibility, fix our broken bail laws and stop Aboriginal kids being taken away. We need to learn from First Nations people how to properly care for Country and protect Aboriginal Cultural Heritage. We must return power to First Nations communities to determine their own future.
Free public schools
Victoria has the lowest-funded public schools in Australia. This means our public schools don’t get the funding they need to meet everyone’s needs and the cost of what should be a free education is rising. Every student should have access to a high quality, genuinely free, local public school.
Volunteer with us
The Greens are proud to be powered by people, not big corporations. All of our big wins have been led by people like you who stepped up to make a difference.
